To say I was incredibly excited about this season is an understatement and thankfully it delivered.

I still have not seen the anime so I can not make comparisions to the storylines etc. However, I felt this season did great in jumping pretty quickly to the next locations and at no point did the story seem to slow down at all.

As with last season, the cast were incredible in their respective roles Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Emily Rudd (Nami), Mackenyu (Zoro), Jacob Romero (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji). The introduction of Charithra Chandran playing Miss Wednesday was awesome and very well played, mysterious yet relatable that all makes sense as the season progresses. Though for me it was clear that Chopper played by Mikaela Hoover, stole the hearts of the entire family. I am excited to see the dymic of the characters moving forward with all the new crew mates.

On the opposite side of things, for the first time I met a character I truly hated, Miss Goldenweek played by Sophia Anne Caruso. The actor did an incredible job at portraying the character and considering my love for the main cast it is easy to see why I truly hated her at one point. Without spoilers I will say similar to my love/hate relationship with Umbridge from the Harry Potter franchise, Miss Goldenweek will forever be a great actress with a great villian role that really I hated her for.

Overall this season had some absolutely wonderful episodes and some great ones. There were some just good ones, introducing new characters and expanding the world we have come to love.

The only negative, and I say negative kinda lightly, is that it felt like the marines were unnecssary this season. I understand that they had to introduce more characters early on, but when it came time to going back to them occassionally I just wanted to know more about the main cast honestly.

Best Episode - 7 - So heartwarming, heartbreaking and just perfection in storytelling.

Worst Episode - 2 - Still good but did not care much about the marines. Also why does the new side character give Koby with swords vibe?

Overall still a great ride and the finale was just incredible bringing everything we had learned up until this point to a head.

Final Thoughts

I loved this season very much and I am most definitely invested in our crews journey. It is so exciting to see where they will go and who they will meet along the way. Count me in for many more seasons ahead.

Score:  8 out of 10. Highly recommend if you liked the first season.

Always Keep Fighting.

You Are Enough.
