Synopsis: Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this one.

I'm a huge fan of both characters and without getting into spoilers it is another Deadpool movie so by now you know what to expect. A lot of back-talking, foul mouth, and fighting. Mix that with Huge Jackman's Wolverine and it is a great time. 

To me, it was the plot that let this movie down. It felt like they wanted to bring Wolverine back from the dead so badly, the multiverse to the rescue, but they could not decide on the how and why. Then they had so many ideas on the reason why he would be needed that they decided to use them all. Personally, I felt that it did not work. 

The best parts of the movie were the cameos and the fighting, and at one point I even rolled my eyes at them fighting again because they already knew at that point that fighting was pointless. Especially against each other. Honestly, it felt like a dig at Freddy vs Jason so I laughed out loud. 

Final Thoughts

This one had so much potential and though I really wanted to give it a 9 out of 10 just for the characters of  Deadpool & Wolverine the story just let it down so much. 

Overall 8 out of 10. It was still a great ride and will definitely still own it.

Cabinet of Curiosities - 2022 Netflix Original

  Genre:  Drama, Horror, Mystery Rating:  TV-MA Synopsis:  Bizarre nightmares unfold in eight tales of terror in a visually stunning, spine-tingling horror collection curated by Guillermo del Toro. As a huge fan of Guillermo del Toro, I had high hopes for this. The opening is visually stunning and the music reminds me of the nightmare before Christmas.  There are some huge stars present and regardless of the story, I personally think everyone did an incredible job showing each character. The problem with a collection of short stories, such as this, is you run into a time problem. Some stories did not get enough time, while others wasted time on things that did not progress fast enough for the time allotted.  Here is a quick breakdown of my thoughts for each episode.  Lot 36 - A very slow start and quick end. Lots of build up very little reward, but the monster was cool. 6 out of 10. Graveyard Rats - Very cool visuals, great story, and straight to the point. Great creature design. 8

Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous - Season 5 - Netflix Original

Genre: Animation, Action, Adventure, Family, Science Fiction Rating: TV PG Synopsis: Teens attending an adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar must band together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island. Previous seasons do need to be watched to understand the relationships between the group and what they've been through so far.  If you've seen the Jurassic World movies, including the most recent it will add some missing details but it's not necessary to watch them before.  I would recommend watching the Jurassic World Dominion movie before the last episode so that some revelations during the show will make sense and will avoid spoilers if you haven't seen the movie.  Season 5 is the last season so it had high expectations to finish with a bang and wrap up any loose ends. With a total of  12 episodes, this time around I did think it was the perfect amount, with the exception of Episode 5 which I thought was pretty much a filler.  Worse: Episode
