Synopsis: Return to a world of two realities: one, everyday life; the other, what lies behind it. To find out if his reality is a construct, to truly know himself, Mr. Anderson will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once more.

So before I go into this I just wanted it known that I love Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and the other cast members of the original Matrix movie. The 2nd, Matrix Reloaded, and 3rd, Matrix Revolutions, movies were hit or miss as far as I'm concerned, as both had good and bad points. 

Sadly this new movie was 10% amazing and a huge 90% meh. 

I can understand in some respects what they were trying to achieve, and some scenes in particular, mostly with Keanu and Carrie-Anne were amazing. Unfortunately, they came after an incredibly slow start and middle and with little reward towards the end. 

Keanu and Carrie-Anne did an amazing job with their scenes. And returning from the original trilogy Jada Pinkett Smith worked well with what she was given, though her makeup...Wow. After the other two movies, some of Jayda's character decisions were questionable but again I see what they were trying to do. The rest of the new cast did well with their situations and made it, at least for the most part look believable. 

In my opinion the 10% of the movie that crushed it was the fight scenes, as usual, and the scenes as I stated with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne together. One scene, in particular, made me cheer out loud, unfortunately, it was too little too late to save the entire movie. 

Final Thoughts. 

It truly breaks my heart to write it but this movie felt like a cash grab, though I know it wasn't the intention. At least I hope it wasn't. There were some great points but they were few and far between and just did nothing to make up for the rest. Once the movie was over I was incredibly disappointed and told my husband as much as I love the cast and everyone involved I don't need to own this one. 

4 out of 10. Such a shame.

Cabinet of Curiosities - 2022 Netflix Original

  Genre:  Drama, Horror, Mystery Rating:  TV-MA Synopsis:  Bizarre nightmares unfold in eight tales of terror in a visually stunning, spine-tingling horror collection curated by Guillermo del Toro. As a huge fan of Guillermo del Toro, I had high hopes for this. The opening is visually stunning and the music reminds me of the nightmare before Christmas.  There are some huge stars present and regardless of the story, I personally think everyone did an incredible job showing each character. The problem with a collection of short stories, such as this, is you run into a time problem. Some stories did not get enough time, while others wasted time on things that did not progress fast enough for the time allotted.  Here is a quick breakdown of my thoughts for each episode.  Lot 36 - A very slow start and quick end. Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous - Season 5 - Netflix Original

Genre: Animation, Action, Adventure, Family, Science Fiction Rating: TV PG Synopsis: Teens attending an adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar must band together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island. Previous seasons do need to be watched to understand the relationships between the group and what they've been through so far.  If you've seen the Jurassic World movies, including the most recent it will add some missing details but it's not necessary to watch them before.  I would recommend watching the Jurassic World Dominion movie before the last episode so that some revelations during the show will make sense and will avoid spoilers if you haven't seen the movie.  Season 5 is the last season so it had high expectations to finish with a bang and wrap up any loose ends. With a total of  12 episodes, this time around I did think it was the perfect amount, with the exception of Episode 5 which I thought was pretty much a filler.  Worse: Episode
