It is so hard to discuss without spoilers but WOW. Another 10 episodes but more than one seemed like filler.

Honestly, I was super disappointed with this season. The main cast of voice actors still did an incredible job

so I think the writers dropped the ball on this one. 

It was already precarious with the 1st season as there were already theories with alternative agendas and villains behind the villains. So going into season 2 it was easy to think that they would follow the same scenario and for the most part they did. However honestly, I think this was what stopped the growth of the characters and caused this unnecessary bunch of chaos. 

I was still rooting for the characters and wanting everything to work out in their favor, so as I said the voice actors were incredible and helped connect the audience to how they were feeling. The dinosaur action was as always awesome and just seeing them on screen made you temporarily forget everything else.  

With the cliffhanger we are dealt it is clear they are intending on making another season and honestly, I would wager money that once it is released season 2 could very well be called a filler season. With the situations that arose they could have kept the ‘big’ reveal until the next season and had a better reaction from both the audience and the characters. 

Best Episode - Lab Partners: Part 1. Episode 8 - Great Dino action and great storytelling. 

Worst Episode - C13v3rGr186. Easily Episode 3 - This one did not have the impact I think they were going for, in fact, it made me hate a character more. 

Final Thoughts

I think it's clear that I did not like this season at all and the re-watchability with this one is 0 for me. I honestly

never thought that my view of a character would change so dramatically. With friends like that who needs

enemies? 

Score: 7 out of 10. Great dino action and voice acting, but a huge fail on the rest. Will not rewatch this season but may give the next one a chance out of pure curiosity.

Cabinet of Curiosities - 2022 Netflix Original

  Genre:  Drama, Horror, Mystery Rating:  TV-MA Synopsis:  Bizarre nightmares unfold in eight tales of terror in a visually stunning, spine-tingling horror collection curated by Guillermo del Toro. As a huge fan of Guillermo del Toro, I had high hopes for this. The opening is visually stunning and the music reminds me of the nightmare before Christmas.  There are some huge stars present and regardless of the story, I personally think everyone did an incredible job showing each character. The problem with a collection of short stories, such as this, is you run into a time problem. Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous - Season 5 - Netflix Original

Genre: Animation, Action, Adventure, Family, Science Fiction Rating: TV PG Synopsis: Teens attending an adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar must band together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island. Previous seasons do need to be watched to understand the relationships between the group and what they've been through so far.  If you've seen the Jurassic World movies, including the most recent it will add some missing details but it's not necessary to watch them before.  I would recommend watching the Jurassic World Dominion movie before the last episode so that some revelations during the show will make sense and will avoid spoilers if you haven't seen the movie.  Season 5 is the last season so it had high expectations to finish with a bang and wrap up any loose ends.
