Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi 2022

Synopsis: Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi watches over young Luke Skywalker and evades the Empire's elite Jedi hunters during his exile on the desert planet Tatooine.

The trend of only a few episodes for an entire season continues. This show had only 6 episodes and, unlike Stranger Things, these are very short ones at that. The first episode is the longest at around 50 minutes and it is the only one that long. 

On the upside, there are great creatures and each actor brought their A-game to the show. The storyline also worked well and for the most part, it flowed very well. 

Bad writing made it suffer greatly. As in the same exact sentence from the same character at least 3 times for the same situation. Another example is interrogating a small child under 12 years old as they are bound to have the best intel on rebels. Really writers? I mean come on. 

Sadly the epic moments we were waiting for really didn't make the rest better. 

6 out of 10 at the very best. Recommend if you love star wars but is really a letdown on some easy-fix issues. This season is not rewatchable, however, as a huge fan of Obi-Wan, I will most likely watch season 2, if it is made.

Cabinet of Curiosities - 2022 Netflix Original

  Genre:  Drama, Horror, Mystery Rating:  TV-MA Synopsis:  Bizarre nightmares unfold in eight tales of terror in a visually stunning, spine-tingling horror collection curated by Guillermo del Toro. As a huge fan of Guillermo del Toro, I had high hopes for this. The opening is visually stunning and the music reminds me of the nightmare before Christmas.  There are some huge stars present and regardless of the story, I personally think everyone did an incredible job showing each character. The problem with a collection of short stories, such as this, is you run into a time problem. Some stories did not get enough time, while others wasted time on things that did not progress fast enough for the time allotted.  Here is a quick breakdown of my thoughts for each episode.  Lot 36 - A very slow start and quick end. Lots of build up very little reward, but the monster was cool. 6 out of 10. Graveyard Rats - Very cool visuals, great story, and straight to the point. Great creature design. 8

Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous - Season 5 - Netflix Original

Genre: Animation, Action, Adventure, Family, Science Fiction Rating: TV PG Synopsis: Teens attending an adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar must band together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island. Previous seasons do need to be watched to understand the relationships between the group and what they've been through so far.  If you've seen the Jurassic World movies, including the most recent it will add some missing details but it's not necessary to watch them before.  I would recommend watching the Jurassic World Dominion movie before the last episode so that some revelations during the show will make sense and will avoid spoilers if you haven't seen the movie.  Season 5 is the last season so it had high expectations to finish with a bang and wrap up any loose ends. With a total of  12 episodes, this time around I did think it was the perfect amount, with the exception of Episode 5 which I thought was pretty much a filler.  Worse: Episode
